This is the "before" picture.   I took some shots as I went along, but not enough to really document the process.

This is the airbox ready to unbolt and remove.  This is the start of what turned out to be about a 4 hour job, for me anyway.

Well, that was quick (Not Really) and here is the "semi" completed project.  I say semi because I still nee a permanent fix to close off the original outlet and I intend on routing the air intake up through the firewall into the vent area, for fresh, cold air intake.

It currently runs out the bottom and up slightly towards the firewall.  You cannot see it in this pic.   The onboard 12V air compressor is going to go in the space the air box used to occupy.

This is the shortened air intake tube.  I used a 2" pipe connector clamp to hold the two pieces together.  I used duct tape under the clamp to make it airtight.
